In response to previous claims by Ahmadinejad "to wipe Israel off of the map", A rabbi in Israel is currently planning a nationwide prayer vigil to include 10,000 children. The Rabbi`s nationwide campaign to enlist the 10,000 children for prayer is waiting for the upcoming holiday of Purim, which commemorates the decree by the Persian government to kill its entire Jewish population. Tradition has it that before the decree was carried out, Mordecai the Jewish leader of the time gathered 10,000 Jewish children to fast and pray with the hopes of eradicating the evil demands proclaimed by the Persians
