According to Iranian sources, cited by the Mehr News Agency, Iran has transfered the required funds to Russia for the anticipated creation of a new nuclear reactor. There had been rumors in the past, that due to Iranian financial troubles, Russia would delay the shipment of nuclear fuel for the establishment of the Bushehr nuclear power plant. Since Russia has a direct interest with Iranian nuclear development, it will be interesting in the future to see just how bold the Russian negotiation team will conduct themselves during the next Security Council talks to decide how to enforce sanctions.
